EXPERIENCE & CAPABILITY
MEDIUM LANDING CRAFT - VESSEL ZERO
Construction of a prototype for a new class of military landing craft, specifically designed for the Australian Army.
YOUNG ENDEAVOUR REPLACEMENT
Contracted in May 2022 for the design, build and delivery of the replacement for the Sailing Training Ship (STS) Young Endeavour.
UNITED STATES ARMY M30 BRIDGE ERECTION BOATS
The Birdon Bridge Erection Boat (BEB) was selected by the United States Army as the replacement boat for the 30 year old MKII.
BRIDGE ERECTION PROPULSION BOATS
Birdon designed and built 24 Bridge Erection Propulsion Boats (BEPBs) for the Australian Army to replace the existing fleet.
REGIONAL PATROL CRAFT
Birdon was selected by the Australian Defence Force to design and construct a fleet of 21 Regional Patrol Craft, including trailers.
US COAST GUARD WATERWAYS COMMERCE CUTTER (WCC) PROGRAM
Birdon was awarded the contract to replace the USCG Waterways Commerce Cutters (WCC).
US COAST GUARD 47 FOOT MOTOR LIFE (MLB) SERVICE LIFE EXTENSION PROGRAM
Birdon was contracted to deliver a redesign and upgrade of the USCG fleet of 117 MLBs.
PROJECT TURKISH DEFENCE CONTRACTOR FNSS MARINE ASSAULT VEHICLE (MAV) ZAHA
Since 2018 Birdon's subsidiary, NAMJET, has been supplying NAMJet designed PODJets to a Turkish Defence Contractor for their Marine Assault Vehicles (MAV).
NETHERLAND ARMED FORCES - BRIDGE ERECTION BOATS
Birdon America Inc. has been selected as a part of the Netherland Armed Forces Next Generation Wide Wet Gap Crossing solution.
Birdon will build Bridge Erection Boats (BEB) for General Dynamic European Land Systems (GDELS).
