Cape preston port company's majun

Birdon completed the dry-docking of the CITIC Pacific Mining owned Majun Tug.

The work comprised of a dry docking for preventative maintenance and upgrade work at the Birdon yard in Dampier.

The fertile waters around CAPE Reston, 100km southwest of Karratha, cause a lot of marine growth which takes a hard toll on the underbelly of transhipping tugs boats.

Majun, Cape Preston Port Company’s (CPPC) newest tug, is the word for turtle in the dialect of their Traditional Owners.

The mining terminal towage tug was delivered safely and on schedule by Birdon.
