We are very proud to share that Sarah Yuen has joined the Birdon team in the position of General Manager – Technology & Engineering.
Sarah began her career in the Royal Australian Navy as a Marine engineer and has been committed to engineering, asset and sustainment management practices in the marine industry ever since.
Sarah is a project and production management professional and ISO 55001 Asset Management practitioner, with extensive experience in Defence & commercial ship repair and ship build programs.
Sarah has managed multiple Defence programs, overseeing program, engineering, configuration management, ILS, asset management and inventory management on projects such as the Huon Class Minehunter and Armidale Class Patrol Boat In-Service Support Programs for Defence.
Prior to joining the Birdon team in 2021, Sarah was the Director Capability Programs at Thales Australia where she was responsible for customer key account management, ISO 55001 Asset Management accreditation and implementation, management of risk and compliance, schedule, budget, team development and commercial management.
Sarah brings extensive knowledge and experience to the growing Birdon team. Sarah works across our Defence and commercial projects and is responsible for engineering, IT and cyber security, infrastructure and asset management practices, continuing to build on a culture of best practice, resilience and delivery.
