Birdon has experience across the Oil and Gas Disposal sector, specialising in the decommissioning and recycling of unstable structures, marine assets and infrastructure.

We are particularly adept to dealing with asymmetric and irregular structures and hazardous materials, often found in the industry.

Birdon has successfully delivered many oil and gas disposal projects including engagement of DOF Subsea to recycle the Mutineer, Exeter, Fletcher and Finucane (MEFF) asset group, Mid Water Arches (MWA), and Disconnectable Turret Mooring (DTM).

 

This project involved heavy lift and transport operations, hazardous waste inspection, destruction and recycling of over 700 tonnes of marine assets.
