Birdon’s Shipping division covers a range of specialties including:

  • Freight services
  • Storage and supply of goods
  • Transport logistics and operation

Birdon owns and operates the Island Trader and is responsible for sea freight from mainland Australia to Lord Howe Island. We also have the facilities to store dry goods prior to shipping. For more information on Birdon’s Island Trader click here. 

We have experience in ferry services and have successfully operated ferries in the Northern Rivers region. Birdon’s capability includes team management, implementation and enforcement of safety procedures and transport logistics.
