DR JOHN WHITE

Executive Chairman

John has been a Director and/or CEO of several publicly listed Australian companies as well as the former Chairman of the Federal Government’s Uranium Industry Framework Council, a member of the Federal Government’s Defence Procurement Board and Director of the DefenceSA Advisory Board. He co-authored the Winter-White Report on the AWD Program and co-founded the Nuclear Fuel Leasing Group. John is currently Chairman of Regenerative Australian Farmers Pty Ltd, the Direct Injection Carbon Engine Network (DICEnet) and the Birdon Group.

JAMIE BRUCE

Chief Executive Officer

Jamie became Managing Director and major shareholder of Birdon in 2008 and President of Birdon America in 2011. Following the steady growth of the Birdon Group, Jamie took on the broader role of CEO in 2014. His drive and leadership stems from firsthand knowledge of the business and his dedication to customer service. Since completing an engineering apprenticeship with Cummins in 1995, Jamie has been involved in all levels of the business, from hands-on project delivery to operations management and strategic leadership.

DAVID MULHALL

Advisory Board Member

Major General David Mulhall, AM, DSC, CSC (Retd.) brings deep insight into the capability and sustainment needs of the Australian Defence Force gained through 36 years of service in Army and his role as Senior Advisor to the Minister for Defence. His strategic acumen and exceptional military logistics expertise was developed though significant roles including Commander Joint Logistics, Deputy Chief of Staff – Support HQISAF/HQ RS  in Afghanistan with a concurrent appointment as Commander Joint Task Force 636, Commander 17th Combat Service Support Brigade, and Chief of Staff Army Headquarters. David has continued to hold high level decision-making positions, including the role of First Assistant Secretary – Disability and Aged Care Workers for the National COVID Vaccine Task Force and strategic corporate roles.

PETER MARSHALL

Advisory Board Member

Peter retired from the Royal Australian Navy as Rear Admiral in 2013. He is an experienced senior executive and engineer, adept at leading large and diverse, multidisciplinary teams in complex material-based outsourced service delivery businesses and major CAPEX projects. Having started out as a professional mechanical engineer, Peter’s strategic management career is founded on sound technical knowledge, supported by his extensive experience in strategic planning, policy formulation, government and industry liaison, media management and corporate governance.

MICHAEL WRIGHT

Advisory Board Member

Michael is a highly regarded leader with experience across multidisciplinary projects in Australia, Asia, Africa and the Americas. From 2017 to 2020, Michael was CEO of CIMIC Group which owns some of Australia’s largest contractors including CPB Contractors, Leightons, Thiess, Sedgmen, UGL and Broad Constructions. Michael’s prior roles included Executive General Manager of Thiess’ Australian mining business and Thiess’ Services business, General manager of Leighton Asia’s China and Mongolia operations and General Manager of Silcar, a joint venture between Thiess and Siemens. Michael has a Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) from the University of Sydney and a Master of Engineering Science from the University of New South Wales. Michael now serves as Executive Chairman of Thiess, a Director of the Minerals Council of Australia and is a Fellow of Engineers Australia.

TERRI BENSON

Managing Director

Terri has held a range of executive and non-executive director roles in the government, utility and private infrastructure sectors. Terri is the Managing Director of Birdon’s Australian operations. Prior to this she was the Managing Director of the Victorian Government’s water services company, South East Water. Terri has previously held senior executive roles such as the Chief Executive Officer at SEQ Water and Managing Director of Essential Energy. As a graduate of UWS and Harvard Business School, Terri has built a career on the strength of her expertise in finance, corporate services and strategy.

TAMMY BUGLER

Chief Financial Officer

Tammy is a Chartered Accountant with a Bachelor Commerce/Law (Hons) from Bond University. She is currently Chief Financial Officer for Birdon and based in the US. Prior to returning to the family business as Finance Director in 2008, Tammy was a Director in the Private Services Division of PricewaterhouseCoopers for 10 years.
